Obituary of Barbara Evelyn Fenby

After a sudden illness at London Health Sciences Centre – Victoria Hospital on January 16, 2025, Barbara Fenby passed away at the age of 92. Barbara moved to London in the 60s, leaving behind her childhood home in the village of Ashton. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Kenneth and her brothers Thomas Lewis and Douglas Ford. Her niece Kathryn extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Mapleview Retirement home for their excellent care, patience, and understanding during Barbara's time there. In keeping with Barbara's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Instead, the family requests those wishing to honour her memory take some peanuts and seeds to a local park and enjoy quiet time feeding the birds and squirrels—an activity that brought Barbara great joy throughout her life.
