Obituary of Olga Stewart

Olga Stewart (née Yadlowski) Passed away peacefully on Family Day, February 17, 2025, in London, Ontario, in her 90th year. Olga was the beloved wife to Glen Stewart, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. She was the proud mother of Russell (Maria) and Richard (Mercedes), and the cherished grandmother of Harrison, Weston, Ryan, and Mason. She was a loved aunt and cousin to many. Her family brought her immense joy. Born in rural Saskatchewan to a Ukrainian family on March 26, 1935, Olga was the daughter of Dimitrie and Mary (Katchuriak) Yadlowski, both of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her younger brother, Ed Yadlowski (Diane), and was predeceased by her older sister, Mary Derkach (Ed). Olga’s deep sense of community and faith guided her throughout her life. She was an active and valued member of the Parish of Holy Trinity St. Stephens Memorial church. Dedicated volunteer at St Paul's Daily Bread program. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of many. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Parish of Holy Trinity St. Stephens Memorial church - 727 Southdale Rd E, London, ON N6E 1A9. Visitation 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Service at 1:00 pm. Fellowship to follow. She generously gave to many charities. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice, in keeping with Olga’s giving spirit.
