Bob lived a long, full life with a big impact on the lives of others. He will be remembered as a coach to hundreds and a role model of humility and service to countless. Bob will also be remembered for his kindness and clever wit. Bob Stark passed away at LHSC University Hospital on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the age of 87. Many will recall him on the ice or at the baseball diamond doing his life’s work, coaching generation after generation of young athletes. While there were a few NHL or MLB stars in the mix, he cared most about teaching the values and principles that transcend sport. Cherished husband of Leone. He will be deeply missed by his children Kathy, Nancy (John) and Bob (Jordan). Proud Grandpa of Daniel (Ally), Katherine (Shawn), Mason and Cole. Great-Grandpa of Nolan and Jade. He is survived by his siblings Harry (the late Shirley), Jean (Jack), Isabelle (Bob) and Bonnie (the late Glenn). Cremation has taken place. Private family interment. The family will host a celebration of life for Bob in the spring of 2019. An announcement of the date and location will be made closer to the time.
