Obituary of Allan George Fenton

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Allan George Fenton, 76, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on December 3, 2024, with his Fiancée Nancy More by his side. Allan leaves behind his children Allyn (Mike Bilitz) Fenton, Natasha (Colin Calvin) Fenton and Jon (Kali Jenkins) Fenton. As well as his grandchildren Jake, Abby, Elyse and Maddy. Allan also leaves behind his step children Dean Fielding, Racheal (Darren) Denney, Trevor (Shawna) Castle, Julie (Gord) Robinson and Mary Kate More. As well as his step grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by his brother Wayne (Jan) Fenton, sister Helen (George) Coleman, brother Walter Fenton, brother Willard Fenton and brother Ivan (Sue) Fenton. Along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Allan is predeceased by his parents John and Jean (Crowe) Fenton and his brother Harold Fenton. Allan was born in Owen Sound, and raised in the Tara area. He graduated from George Brown College, followed by working as a skilled carpenter for 40+ years, and a home inspector for 10+ years. He was always willing to help, and never gave up. Allan gave back to his communities in many ways, including many years of coaching hockey. Cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, St. James Westminster Church or Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital.
