Obituary of Jean Louise Curiale

October 2, 1962 - January 12, 2025 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Louise Curiale in her 63rd year. Jean was the loving wife of Len for 38 years and the proud mother of Amie (Steven), Nathan (Amelia), Matthew (Jessica), and Laura. She had three cherished grandchildren—Elizabeth, Emilia, and Aliyah—and reveled in her ever-growing family. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends. Jean was fiercely loved by her children and dedicated husband until her final moments. She is remembered by them, and by all who knew her, for her infectious laugh, immense kindness, and deep faith in God. Her family finds great joy in knowing that Jean is now at peace with her Heavenly Father. Jean believed that time spent in the presence of her family was time well spent. She never refused the chance to hold someone's hand, always said "I love you," and believed that everything could be fixed by a hug. She loved taking long drives while sipping on a Tim Hortons coffee. She enjoyed watching movies, eating Hawaiian pizza, and making her children laugh. Much of Jean’s education and employment was in the care of children, and her dream was always to raise a family of her own with a husband who loved her. In her later years, Jean’s care brought her to McCormick Home where she and her family found safety, care, and community. Jean was a gentle, resilient spirit. She will always be remembered by her family and friends, and her immeasurable impact will continue to live on in them every day. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to McCormick Home in thanks for the dedication and sensitivity they brought to Jean’s care.
