Obituary of Bill Schaufelberger

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on July 12, 2019 at the age of 88.  Born in Weingarten, Germany June 16, 1931, he was a devoted husband of Julia Schaufelberger, loving father to Michael Schaufelberger (Jane) and Susan Adams of Calgary. Also Opa to Jenna McCombie, Nicholas Schaufelberger, Taylor and Jeffery Adams and Great Opa to Addison & Patrick McCombie.  Bill is predeceased by his parents Lina & Christian Schaufelberger and sister Martha from Weingarten Germany. Bill ran a successful insurance brokerage for many years and in his spare time he loved golfing, wine making, fishing, gardening, and spending time at his home in Florida.  He was also a proud member of the London North Rotary Club for many years.  Bill had a great love for animals, particularly his grand dogs.  Donations can be made to The London Middlesex Humane Society or to a charity of ones choice in his memory.  A big thank you to all the staff at Westmount Gardens for the care and support they provided in the last few years.  Celebration of Life will take place at Sunningdale Golf & Country Club, London. Guest are invited to drop by between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019.
