Obituary of Irene Maud Stilson

My Journey is over Irene Maud Stilson nee Strangeman February 24, 1920 to January 18, 2020 Irene passed away peacefully in her sleep at Marion Villa LTC on Saturday, January 18th, 2020. She almost made it to 100. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur (1994), son Robert (2012) and grandson Max (2015). Irene's parents died young; mother Maude Strangeman (1920) and father William H. Strangeman (1926). Mom was raised from birth by her mother's sister Theresa Reeves whom she loved and cherished. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Peggy Curnoe (Glen) and daughter in law Ursula Stilson. She will be fondly remembered as grandma by Tara Curnoe (Gary Sarkissian), Aaron Curnoe, Maggie Kannon (Richard), Adam Stilson ((Shannon Lewis) and Sam Stilson (Heather Groot). As well she will be missed as great grandma to Theo, Darwin, Lyrica, Henry and Arthur. The family would like to thank the 5th floor staff at Marion Villa for their exemplary care and compassion. There will be a private interment and arrangements have been entrusted to Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London Inc. Memories and condolences may be made at (www.mpcemetery.ca).
