Obituary of Ruth Lillian Blackwell

Ruth Lillian Blackwell nee McGill, age 94, a long time resident of London, Ontario passed away peacefully on Thursday December 17, 2020 with her daughters at her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Dale. Dearly loved mother of Ellen Crawford (Paul) and Anne Dann (Kevin). Cherished Grammie of Julie Cuervo (Jorge), Heather Dann, Katherine Hegarty (Andrew), Ian Dann (Jess), David Crawford (Julianna). Great Grammie to Cecilia and Alessandra Cuervo, Beatrice and Lincoln Hegarty. Being the youngest of a large family, Ruth had close ties with her many nieces and nephews. Ruth maintained her relationships with her colleagues at Normal School for more than 60 years. She applied all her skills acquired as a kindergarten teacher with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. In our hearts forever.
