I met carol and art when I was was 5 years old. Later in my years we reconnected after Art had his stroke. We visited on a yearly basis and even spent a few new years eve together . Art and Carol where great people to be around. I remember visiting with Art before his passing in the hospital. So sad. Carol spent all her time looking after Art which is a testament of their love for each other. . Carol always had a smile and a kind word . Art and Carol were simply just fun to be around !!!! Two great people are gone in this world and I will always remember the treasure I had in their company !

As a child, I always looked forward to visiting with Art & Carol as they were the "cool couple" my parents socialized with. They always travelled, had the sports cars, the latest toys and gadgets. Back then kids weren't always a part of the adult visits and 'm sure some parents were nervous taking young ones (especially two rambunctious little boys) to other people's houses for the fear they might break something, and this would in turn make us nervous being there. Art as most know was always the life of the party but I remember Carol always made a point of including us and making us feel at ease. She had such a sweet soul with a kind demeanor, as a kid you would just warm right up to her. We would only see them a handful of times a year but always looked forward to their surprise visits at grandma's house on boxing day, I never remember laughing so hard. You were such a great friend to our mom when dad passed, you will always be in our memories, rest in peace godmother.
Our deepest condolences to all her family and friends

Carol and Art were friends of my parents, Art and Barbara Shulman, but I remember her so clearly and often from my childhood I felt she was actually my friend. She is one of the kindest people I've ever known. She had so much love and sense of fun. I was often lonely as a kid and she made me feel loved and accepted. I'm in New York City now, and to my regret, I haven't seen her in many years, but I feel devastated at this loss. Thank you for all you've given my family, Carol. We all, in our own separate ways, love you. We will miss you very much. Robin, Marcel, Camilo, Nuri, Barbara, Leslie

I have so many great memories but the best ones are from when I was younger and flew to Canada by myself to stay a week with Aunt Carol. She took me to the water park, Niagara Falls and the Sandhills. Even though she didn’t have kids she made sure I felt like I was hers the entire trip, she even went down the water slide in a tube with me. When I had to have the new Gwen Stefani CD she let me blast it in her car and listened to my awful singing. When I was having a bad day or going through things she was always there to listen, she helped me get through a lot of tough times when I felt alone. I will always cherish our times together and make sure “the power” lives on. Love you always ❤️❤️❤️

When I met Carol over 56 years ago,we immediately became not only relatives but the closest and dearest friends. We have shared so many wonderful memories and fun plus a trip to England with Art and his Dad , my Husband Howard for 2 Unforgettable, Wonderful weeks. When she wanted time off from work she always told them that with much regret she had to go to Florida to help her MOTHER IN LAW! Little did they know how much fun we were having. I will always love her and miss her dearly. I send my condolences and love to all her family and friends at this time of loss. Sandy Gray Gundacker
