Obituary of Ralph Douglas Mather

Ralph Douglas MATHER (1929 – 2021) Ralph Mather died suddenly at his home in London, Ontario on July 24, 2021 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by his wife Joyce (n. Rowe). He is survived by his daughters Lois (Kerry) Gignac, Susan (Mark) Minielly, his son Robert Mather, and his grandson Adam Gignac. Ralph grew up on the 10th line of Drummond near Lanark. He was the son of the late Harold and Gladys Mather. He worked in the electrical industry, operating his own business until he reached the age of 76. After retiring, he enjoyed spending time at Tim Hortons discussing current and past events with his friends. He was predeceased by his sisters Shirley Mather, Norma (Art) Coleman, Anneth (Charlie) Martin, and by his brother Art (Gladys) Mather. He will be remembered by his nieces Joanne Provost, Darlene Mather, Beverly Dunn, and Gloria MacDonell, his nephews Neil Martin and Bruce Martin and their families, and his sister-in-law Ruth Rowe and the extended Rowe family. At his request, there will be no visitation. A family graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
