Obituary of Donald William Van Duzen

Van Duzen, Donald William Peacefully passed away with family by his side on Thursday July 29, 2021. Born in Parry Sound, ON in 1959, raised in Orrville, ON. A 10 year resident of Calgary AB and 32 year resident of London ON. After working many years in building construction, Don worked most of his adult life as an electronics technician until retirement in 2020. He will be greatly missed and cherished by his wife of 35 years Glenna Stephens Van Duzen, and daughter Jessica Van Duzen. Predeceased by his parents Muriel (White) and William Van Duzen, his brother Gary Van Duzen, and his Uncle Jim White. Don will always be lovingly remembered by his brothers and sisters in law, aunt, in laws, and their families: David and Linda Van Duzen (Sean, Phillip, and families) Allan and Joan Van Duzen and family Sheri and Chris Webb (Kevin and Derek) Carol White (Rob, Ian, Vance, and families) Elaine and Gord Cox (Tim, Chris, and families) and many other extended family members and friends. The family would like to offer their appreciation and gratitude to the organizations IPMS and AMPS and their many members for being an influential, positive part of his life for many years. A special thank you to St. Joseph's Hospice of London, Home and Community Care Support Services, and the London Regional Cancer Program, all of whom compassionately supported the family through a very difficult period, in already extraordinarily difficult times. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Hospice of London, or the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. Internment will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, 303 Riverside Dr. London, ON. Due to current restrictions Mount Pleasant asks that you contact the family for further details and to RSVP the family with full name and phone number (for contact tracing) by August 14th, as there is a limited number of individuals permitted to attend. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early, park in the line of cars, and **inform the second car in line of your arrival** so we can confirm all have arrived. Unfortunately, they will not have washrooms available.
