Marg, Adrian, Jamie and grandchildren Ashton, Grayson, Emily and Aiden, with deepest sympathy we are greatly saddened by your loss of Joe
Joe was a very talented wood craftsman and cabinet maker and spent a great amount of time in his workshop. While there, he would attract all types of wildlife and become their best buddy by feeding and watching over them and on occasion even adopting some of them. Joe was the most loyal Pittsburgh Steelers fan in the football pool and would never select an opposing team to beat his beloved Steelers even though logic would dictate otherwise. Joe always displayed a unique strategy (not even God could understand) when engaging with others in games of chance such as poker and euchre. That innocent poker face of his was always highlighted well by his handsome facial features and his favorite Pittsburgh Steelers hat. As his longtime euchre partner, I remain befuddled when reflecting back on some of his most interesting methods of play.
Joe, you will always be a special person in our hearts. Rest in Peace good buddy.

I'm going to miss our impromptu meetings in his garage where we would discuss everything from politics to education and healthcare and more often than not, his latest addition the numerous neighbourhood cats he became the surrogate guardian for. Most of all I'm going to miss his much needed advice on the correct way to build or repair anything that had its origins in wood.
Marg, our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your family. Know that we are just across the street if ever you need an extra hand or shoulder to lean on.
