Dear Mikel,
I’ve been trying to reach you, but thought (should know better wasn't in your nature) you ghosted me, thought cause I had went “back out” and here I am in London the past few weeks and been trying to reach you again, no response.
A person wouldn’t tell me but told me to try Google, and there you were.
The last face l thought I’d see in this type of section, I am back in were we met at QWH, and heard a bit of the circumstances, and I wish you a forever afterlife of peace, and I met your family, I am so so sorry for your loss.
I shared about Mikel today and and finding this out in RPG and how wonderful and artistic and giving and loving and supportive and never afraid to be himself, they say the good die young, this is the truest time I can agree when it comes to this man, thank you for being my “hug buddy” in QWH and staying in touch after and all the memories, I learnt alot about being myself from you and what a kind soul looks like, Love You my friend! It won’t be in vain, a memory of one if it can happen to a good man like you, literally no one is immune, and two it truly just takes once in life, one error and the outcome is this great loss and loss for your beautiful family, and all your many friends and people you impacted. I Won’t forget nor will I forget you!

Oh Mike, truly one of my favourite classmates I ever had. I can't even remember which class we had together, all I remember is the fun we would have.
In class one day, Mike had a runny nose and I asked if he needed a tissue. He said no and I said "good, because I don't have any!" and he laughed like I had said the funniest thing in the world. Mike always greeted me with a warm smile.

Oh Mikel. It sucks that you're gone but I'll remember you forever ❤️ You'll live on though your music, art and humor, and the lasting impression you undoubtedly made on everyone around you. Thank you for becoming my friend, boyfriend and friend again all those years ago, and staying in touch through our many phases of life.
I remember one year for your birthday you said you wanted the sky to be purple. We woke up the next morning to the most beautiful pink, blue and purple sunrise. I'll always think of you when the sky is purple.

We met in high school and you were a ready source of fun and positivity. You were a fabulous artist and creative, and I wish I had followed up with you over the years because it was always a joy to be around you all those years ago. You were one of the best parts of my teen years. You always set out ot make sure everyone around you was happy and laughing. You were there whenever anyone needed you. It has been quite awhile since I saw you, but I definitly always had you in my thoughts. My heart goes out to your family in this difficult time. I am in complete shock of this and can not believe he is gone. My heart breaks for your family and for anyone who were lucky enough to know him. We went to Beal together and I feel lucky that I have had the chance to meet such a unique and uplifting person in life. He is be greatly missed. </3

My sincere condolences. My memories of Mikel are as playmates when we were very young and Sylvia was our family babysitter. Many summer memories playing in the countryside in Clandeboye. May God hold your family in his hands as you find peace and healing.

Big Mike,
When we first met it was in grade 9 at Beal. I remember we got so close, and that you were one of my best friends. We hung out a lot, laughed, joked around all the time, and you were always there to listen and make my smile even on the darkest days. Our crew in high school were so close and honestly you all made high school experience amazing! We had so many Awsome times together and I know that you were always battling with yourself…and for that I am sorry. I wish there was more I could have done to help you. All I hope is that you are now at peace and just know that you were so loved ❤️

Mike would often send me new music he made, he was so talented. He always played guitar for me when we were together so I could sing for him. I'm going to miss his random calls to check in on me, or just to tell me a story he thought might make me laugh. He loved to make people laugh, even if at times inappropriately, he was such a charmer, it was hard not to love him.
I hope he is at peace, and smiling down knowing we all have fond memories of him and all he had to share

Mikel, we will miss you so very much. You were born on March 22, 1985 at 9:58 am weighing in at 6 lbs 5 oz and 19 1/2" long. You were so very precious and hardly slept, even as a tiny infant. You talked and walked before 8 months old. You were a compliant child and you loved to play by yourself. You always told me how much you hated sharing your toys when others came over to play because they didn't take care of them like you did and you didn't want them to wreck them. You never wanted to colour because you couldn't colour within the lines. You remembered songs from movies after hearing them only once. You loved cuddles and hugs. You grew up so quickly, but wanted to stay a child. You always wanted to go back to those times where you could create your own stories with your toys, but life doesn't let us to that, does it? You struggled from a young age with depression and school was tough because of your learning disabilities, but you didn't give up despite your many struggles. Your heart was so big. I remember you came shivering home from school one winter day and I asked you were your coat was and you told me that you had given it to a homeless person to keep warm. You were always helping others out, even if you basically had nothing. Even a few weeks ago, you told me that you had given your blanket away to a homeless person because you had a warm apartment and they needed it so much more than you.
Son, you were a character and although addiction had it's hold on you, you never gave up fighting for and loving others. There were times you tested me, but I never gave up on you or never stopped loving you. You always took time for others and for this you will always be remembered.
I love you more than words can express! Your MOM!
