Obituary of Melva Eleanor Baker

Melva Eleanor Baker (nee Prince) November 12, 1937 – April 13, 2023 Melva Baker passed away peacefully following a short illness on April 13, 2023, at the age of 85 at Victoria Hospital in London ON. She leaves behind her loving sons William Baker of London ON, Robert Baker and favourite daughter-in-law Angela of Amherstview ON, and centre of her universe granddaughter Calista Baker of Whitby ON. Predeceased by husband and partner David Brown with whom she shared many traveling adventures. Loving sister to Arlene Youngs, Jean Jones, Mary Calhoun, and Monte Prince (Liz). Melva will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Stanley and Erma Prince and siblings Bruce Prince, Gary Prince, Barbara Prince, and Debra Hooper. A Celebration of Melva’s Life will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (Chapel and Reception Centre), 303 Riverside Dr. London Ontario on Friday, April 28, 2023, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. Words of remembrance at 2:30pm. The Baker family would like to express appreciation to the staff at Victoria Hospital medical and palliative care departments for their care, kindness, and support.
