Michael Marozsan

Obituary of Michael Anthony Marozsan

Michael Marozsan of London, Ontario, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 06, 2023 at the age of 48. Born in Tillsonburg, Ontario, Michael’s sense of adventure and “no fear” attitude took him places few would follow. Michael surrounded himself with friends early in life and always had the ability to captivate an audience. He continued on that path and would often reminisce and share his endless collection of stories if you had the time to share. Every story was the best story. He had a sharp intellect, a quick, dry wit, and was full of humour. Michael’s friendly, loving, supportive, charming personality was a perfect match for his huge heart of gold. He drew people in with his magnetic personality, kind soul and brilliantly inquiring mind. Nothing was ever more important to Michael than his family and friends. If you were lucky enough to have met Michael during his life’s journey, then he considered you a friend. For the ones he fell in love with, he held a special place in his heart for you forever. He sometimes struggled along the way with that huge heart, looking back at the “what if” and “what could have been”, but always forged forward, with an eye to the horizon and a hope for tomorrow. We all miss him more than we can say, and he leaves a hole in our lives. Michael leaves behind his furry companion of 10 years, a Border Collie named “Buddy”. He took absolute pride in Buddy’s training and accomplishments. Buddy is truly the smartest dog you could ever meet. Michael was always practicing a new trick, showing off Buddy’s ability to listen and perform, and continually trained him to his fullest potential. Those two were inseparable. Michael also leaves behind his loving Sisters Teresa, and Anastasia (Tim). He was the cherished and proud Uncle of Jillian, who he adored completely and could always make laugh. Michael was predeceased by his Parents William and Irene Marozsan; and will be missed by many Aunts, Cousins, and Friends. He will be remembered by his friends and family as someone who went out of his way to help anyone in need. In keeping with Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, if you are so moved, please make a donation in Michael’s memory to the London Humane Society.
