We were deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. He was truly a remarkable person whose laughter brightened our days and whose captivating stories entertained and mesmerized everyone around him. We have countless fond memories of Bill that will forever be cherished. His infectious laughter had the power to uplift our spirits and bring joy to any gathering. He had a unique ability to find humor in every situation, and his presence alone could lighten up the room. Bill had an incredible talent for storytelling, and his captivating tales always had us on the edge of our seats, eager to hear more. Not only did we admire and adore Bill but our children were equally drawn to his magnetic personality. He had a special way of connecting with them, making them feel valued and loved. Rest in peace Bill, it was a pleasure having you in our lives! Amanda, Madison,Payton, Jillian and Logan Lockhart

Yesterday at church we sang the beautiful hymn "Will Your Anchor Hold", words by Priscilla Jane Owens, 1882. The last verse reads
"When our eyes behold, through the gathering night,
the city of gold, our harbour bright,
we shall anchor fast by the heavenly shore,
with the storms all past for evermore."
Our hearts went out to Billy.
He lit up a room with his special smile and positive attitude.
Rest in peace, dear nephew.
Love, Aunt Nat and Uncle Ken

RIP Bill, I enjoyed and had fond memories of road hockey, bike racing, go carting, hockey card trading and more on that Jason court, and your sense of humour was second to none- you made me laugh at your jokes and at myself. I enjoyed talking with you in the last year at your father's memorial.
To coral, Greg , Lori, we offer our condolences and will never forget bill.

To Bill’s family,
I had the opportunity to meet and work with Bill in the Beverage Alcohol business. He was always very cooperative and fun to be around! In the last 10 years you may have heard Bill mention participation in the Lucky 13 Baseball Club. He was always an avid baseball fan. It was a privilege to serve as his Commissioner of the Club. Rest in Peace Bill. Your friend Garry Kline

To the Lamport family,
I worked with Bill for several years. I also got to know Bill outside of work too. I'll never forget going to Toronto with Bill to see two former presidents. Bill was amazed watching the secret service detail. He even asked them what they were doing. Of course they couldn't tell him. I said Bill that's why it's called "secret "service, and we had a good laugh about it. Bill had a wonderful sense of humour and quick witt.
I have so many fond memories of Bill. It's hard to believe I won't see him anymore.
Rest in peace Bill.
Deepest condolences to the Lamport family.

We are so very shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic passing of "Junior". We were sharing fond memories of him last weekend. We always had a great time in his company and always shared so many laughs. As his Manager during his LCBO career, you couldn't ask for an employee that was more dedicated, harder working or one who made the job "fun".
He will be missed. May his memory be eternal. Rest easy Bill.
