Obituary of Curt Max Robert Obertreis

It is with deepest sympathy we share the passing of Curt Max Robert Obertreis, on October 3rd, 2023, with his family by his side. Born September 23, 1938 in Holland; Curt immigrated to Canada in 1965, accompanied by his wife. Curt's passion was sailing, circling the globe in his younger years and navigating the Great Lakes in his later years. During his 30-year career at 3M Canada, he valued working hard and sharing his many innovations that the company implemented. Curt is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marianne and his four children: Anita Kennedy (Randy), Robert Obertreis (Sue), Colette Forristal and Curtis Obertreis. Grandchildren Ashlynn, Tyler, Jeremiah, Nathan, Nolan, Caitlyn, Kayla, Andrew, Hayden and Drezden. Great grandchildren Wade, Henry, Emmersen, Deklan. A private celebration of life will be held for Curt.
