Obituary of Douglas Andrew DaSilva

DaSilva, Douglas Andrew After a brief battle in hospital on December 22, 2023, Douglas Andrew DaSilva died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 91, with his family in their thoughts. Beloved husband of Mary Ellen DaSilva for 63 wonderful years. Loving father of Jim (predeceased in 1992), Michael, Christopher (Karen) and son Spencer. Proud grandpa to Jim who was the light of his life. Son of the late Virgil and Olympia DaSilva. Brother of Noreen Duboulay, Norma Whitting, Yvonne Belgrave and Michael DaSilva. Douglas was a longtime member of Centennial Wheelers. Douglas will be cremated and laid to rest at Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Friday, January 5th by immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
