Janet, Len and I were so sorry to hear of Bev’s passing. My first student teacher placement was with Bev in guidance at SDCI. He took me under his wing and I was fortunate to be able to work with him for several years before his move to North Middlesex. He made work fun and I will remember him fondly. Len and I are thinking of you, Chris, Kim and families during this difficult time.

We did meet Bev and Janet, thanks to his mother Margaret who enticed Corrine to join the Bayfield Quilters Guild, found memories of the garden club auctions Bev would lead Richard to open wider his wallet.
May his memory be a blessing!

Grogan Family,
Thinking of you all during this time. So many great memories of Bev, especially when he came into my Grade 7/8 classroom to teach about the stock market and when he coached Rylie's St. Mark basketball team to win the city finals. It was fun to be on the bench with him, he was such a great Papa!

On behalf of the Cunningham family, I would like to offer our sincere condolences to the Earley family. I remember Bev as a great teacher, speaking to all students as he passed them in the halls of SDCI. I’m sure there were times that I frustrated him with wild and outlandish career ideas and never did he say my ideas were ridiculous (which they were). Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Bev will be missed by many, including Cheryl and I. He was not only a close friend of ours for many years, starting in Strathroy but he was also a “brother” that I never had. We shared many happy tines with Janet and Bev in Strathroy, Bayfield, London and in the Yukon where we now reside. We will always treasure our road trip together through the Maritimes and Newfoundland.
Bev could always see the humorous side of a situation and was ready to tell stories on himself.
He will be missed but not forgotten.
Our condolences to Janet and the entire Earley/Oakes clan.

Dear Janet and family,
We were all so sorry to hear of Bev's passing in the paper.
He was such a special man. He always had the ability to make you laugh and feel important when you were in his presence. He was a straight shooter who understood how the world worked having been raised on a farm. He knew honest hard work, personal integrity and close family and friend relationships were the key to living a happy meaningful life.
Our family will always cherish our years together on Glitter Bay Road. All the fun cottage times; dinners together, garden walks to check the fish pond, games around the table at night and most definitely all the kidding and laughter. Bev became "Papa Bev" to Nick and Emily along with all the other cottage kids over the years....Johnathan and Dylan Dedrick, Katie and Jenna Conlon and Eric Newcombe.
Back in London, Dad always looked forward to his lunches with Bev and Murray Kelly. The three amigos for their Red Lobster lunches planning their next moves on the stock market. Birthdays and anniversaries celebrated together over the years....so many great memories.
We know how much he will be missed and we are sending our heartfelt sympathy.
Most sincerely,
Bob Biesenthal
