Obituary of Winston Manuel

April 7, 1940 – March 16, 2024 Winston was predeceased by his wife Lois and was the last of a Manuel generation, being predeceased by his parents Edgar and Clara (nee Ball) Manuel and all of his 12 siblings. Leaving to mourn his Children: Roger (Holly) Manuel of London ON, Joanne (Tony) Rodford of Orangeville, ON and Kevin (Suzie) Manuel of Ottawa, ON; Grandchildren: Jennifer Rodford, Makyla Manuel and Ryker Manuel; Brothers-in-law Arthur Langdon of Wabush, NL and Robert (Audrey) Sharron of Botwood, NL, sister-in-law Ruby (Bruce) Hutchings of Mississauga, ON, along with many nephews, nieces and other family and friends. Known for his care and compassion for others, he enjoyed regularly checking in with those who needed an encouraging call, even calling people in the neighbourhood to share an encouraging scriptural thought. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is now awaiting his Bible based hope mentioned at Job 14:14, 15 “If a man dies can he live again? … You will call and I will answer …” The memorial service will take place Saturday, March 30, 2024, 3 PM (NDT)/1:30 PM (EST), at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 275 Grenfell Heights, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL.
