Dear Chris and Dan, you are the only two children of Richard and Vel that I have had the pleasure of meeting. You both are kind and people Richard and Vel would be proud of. I am so sorry for your loss. It is hard to lose a parent. Right now, I wish to say I will miss seeing you at Richard and Vel’s summer place by the lake. It was nice to talk to Vel and Richard there. They were both people to look up to. They will never be forgotten.

I was a long time employee of Dick's for over 27 years. He wasn't just an employer but also a teacher in business and the automatic door trade.

Mr. D, you are a legend! A man of his own domain a brilliant businessman. A man of enormous integrity and never spoke a negative word.
Words cannot express the profound impact you had on my life. Over the past 30 years. Your guidance and wisdom transformed me both professionally and personally. Your guidance were brilliant and sometimes challenging. I truly appreciate you and forever cherish our moments together, as they shaped me into the person I am today.
We have shared many moments and I will truly appreciate and celebrate you. I understood you as a person, father and businessman.

There are no sympathy cards that say what we need to say, no words to express our feelings. Only sadness, loss and grief. Dick, you will never be forgotten.
You were a friend that welcomed me to the Homan St 'church'. A solid person, always greeting me with a 'Hey man!' I celebrate you and the good you brought with your time here.
