Obituary of Frances Therese Constant

Frances Therese (Boudreau) Constant passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 90. She was born in Boudreauville, NS to Catherine and Willard Boudreau. Fran was preceded in death by her son Alan on February 26, 2024 and her husband Jack in 1998. She is survived by her daughter Lise, granddaughters Saleema (Aaron) Estrada, Yasmeen Lookman, and Sharifa Lookman, sisters Virginia Boudreau, Patsy (Peter) Gillis, and Claire Johnston, and many nieces and nephews. Fran lived in London from 1958 until 1978 when she moved to Stoney Creek, ON. She moved to Tobermory ON in 1996 and lived there until 2023 when illness slowed her down and she moved into long term care, where unsurprisingly, she brought joy and laughter to the other residents. Fran was known for her kind heart, positive attitude, great sense of humour, and her date squares. When she wasn’t quilling, sewing, or crafting, she could be found volunteering throughout her community. Her generosity and warm spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact. Frances will be cherished and missed by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Fran’s ashes will be interred at 11:00am on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in London.
