Obituary of William Alexander Dick

Bill left us peacefully on June 5, 2024, at University Hospital, London, after a full and well-lived life. He was predeceased by his loving parents, Dr. William S. and Helen M. Dick, and his wonderful wife and best friend, Ila Marie, in 2021. Bill is survived by his sister, Suzanne Wilkinson of Toronto, and his brother, David Dick of Gibsons, B.C, as well as his special friends, Jan Sydorko, Marlene Allegretti, and Ila’s Parkhill family. Bill worked for Bell Canada for 30 years, but also loved his retirement in his London community of Masonville. His open garage door, enjoyment of coffee and chat, sharing his mechanical expertise, and pleasure in helping friends and neighbours made him a well-loved fixture. He will be missed. A graveside service will be held on June 17 at 12:30 p.m. Before the service, please gather outside the Mount Pleasant Cemetery office, 303 Riverside Drive, London.
