Obituary of Werner Karl Valentin Erdt

In Loving Memory of… Werner Karl Valentin Erdt September 11, 1934 - June 14, 2024 — It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness that we say goodbye to Werner Karl Valentin Erdt, who passed away peacefully on June 14, 2024, at 6:14 PM. In his final moments, he was surrounded by deep love. As his son, I, James, held his hand and looked into his eyes, ensuring he was not alone. It was a poignant farewell, filled with love and gratitude for a life so wonderfully lived. My Dad blessed us with nearly 90 years of wisdom, kindness, and unyielding love. As a dedicated hairdresser, he touched countless lives with his skilled hands and warm heart. His salon was more than just a place for styling hair; it was a sanctuary of laughter, stories, and friendships. Every snip and every stroke were reflections of his passion for making others feel beautiful, inside and out. Werner was a devoted son, a caring brother, and, above all, a loving husband to my mother, Rosemarie. Fittingly, she passed on Mother’s Day, and now, as we remember him on Father’s Day weekend, we celebrate their reunion. Their love story was one of enduring devotion and unspoken understanding, a bond that withstood the test of time. Today, we find solace in knowing they are together again, holding hands in the eternal embrace of heaven. Werner’s kindness knew no bounds. His gentle humor and wise words could light up any room. He was a true gentleman – considerate, respectful, and endlessly patient. He lived a life of hard work and dedication, always putting his family first. His loyalty was unwavering, a testament to his deep commitment to those he loved. To me, he was a hero. As a father, Werner was a pillar of strength and unwavering support. He guided us with a firm yet gentle hand, teaching us the values of kindness, hard work, and the beauty of living life with a generous spirit. The memories we hold of him are more than cherished; they are the essence of who we are and who we strive to be. Your absence will leave a painful void however we know you will watch over us as our newest guardian angel. Thank you for everything! :) RIP Dad. I love you! See you in heaven. GOD bless you!!! James xoxo
