Obituary of David William Burke

Surrounded by loved ones, David Burke passed away on June 18th, 2024 at University Hospital in London at the age of 70, following his battle with cancer. Born on September 10th, 1953 in Churchill Manitoba, David was the son of the late George and Christine Burke (O’Shea). David leaves behind his daughter, Desiree (Alex) Rigby along with their two boys, Lucas and Owen. He was a beloved brother to Catherine Burke and uncle to Stephan Burke. He is predeceased by his sister Sharon Burke (Phil Bagley). David was also the cherished partner of Julie-Ann Raycraft and will be deeply missed by her and her loving family. David was a proud driver for Robert Q Airbus where he touched the lives of many. In keeping with David’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private celebration of life for the immediate family. The family extends sincere thanks for the wonderful care received by the staff at London Health Sciences Centre.
