Obituary of Louis Edward John Cooke

Louis Edward John Cooke FRAIC, RIBA, OAA. Known to some as “John” set sail to the great beyond on July 11, 2024 at LHSC – University Hospital in London, Ontario after a brief illness.  Louis went to be reunited with his beloved wife, Sally whom he missed dearly since her departure in 2015. He is survived by his daughters Michelle (Jason) and Sarah-Anne (Andrew), and his grandchildren Autumn, Julian and Arthur.  He is predeceased by his parents Albert and Kathleen Cooke.  Cremation took place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.   Louis is deeply missed. He will be remembered for his passion for life which included sailing and his lifelong profession of architecture. He practiced to the end. Louis was the architect of his life and it was a life full of so many accomplishments, interests, and stories to tell. The family invites those who knew and loved Louis to join them in celebrating his life on October 6, 2024 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Watson Porter Pavilion at Fanshawe Conservation Area, 1424 Clarke Road, London, ON N5V 5B9.
