My memories of Aidan will always revolve around his positive, enthusiastic, engaged nature. He was always one of the highlights of my visits with the Mullan family because of his genuine love of life and the levity his mere presence brought to a room. In the face of adversity, he was a fun guy to get to know and that is something that should inspire us all. Though he will be missed, his warm smile and strength will stay with us and encourage us forever. What a wonderful son, brother and friend we were all fortunate to have in Aidan. It was, and still is, a true privilege to have known him, though too briefly.

Melissa, Patrick, and Owain- I am so heartbroken for all of you. Saying goodbye to someone much to young is so hard. Having worked with Melissa through much of Aidan's childhood, I'd hear little stories that showed what a quirky and up-beat person he was. One that sticks out for me (because I'm into rules myself) was when he told some other kids who were doing something they weren't supposed to, that they should follow the rule because "it's a COOL RULE!"

I am so sorry for your loss. I still remember meeting Aidan in the library for the first time when he was starting grade 9. He has always been cheerful and polite, even on his hardest days at school. My heart hurts for your whole family. He was a lovely young man.
