Dear Lorraine and Michelle,
My heartfelt condolences to you both and the rest of your family on the loss of Bill ... it was a huge surprise to see your news in the Hanover Post today ... there were several years when our families were in close touch when Jane and Michelle were buddies ... and then when their paths diverged, I still saw Bill, sometimes with you Lorraine and sometimes not, in my bookstore, when he would drop in to say hi with a twinkle in his eye ... I have fond memories of your family and wish you all the very best as you come to terms with this loss ... my heart is with you ...
Alison (Greenaway) Coates, Walkerton

I am terribly sorry to learn of BIll's passing, please accept my sincerest condolences. I found him to be a lovely person.
I met Bill when we were constructing Bruce B - Bill was a foreman over the conventional piping crew. This would be circa 1980/1981. We had a pleasant relationship which is more than I can say of that with his boss, Leo Deshamps (although Leo later profusely apologized). With BIll"s assistance we built Bruce B "clean". The excellent performance of the units is a testament to the work of Bill and his colleagues. There was a lot of work that Bill's crew, amongst others, performed to ensure the units were "built clean".
I was the Operations Commissioning Chemist overseeing construction including environment which had not previously been a significant issue with construction. It might be fair to state that I was considered a veritable pain in the butt to construction, but in the end it paid off handsomely. In case you are not aware Bruce is extending the life of its units to run into the 2060s. Also they are making significant moves into production of medical radionuclides.
In conclusion, I am very sorry to learn of your loss. Please accept my sincerest condolences.
John.

I also worked at the Bruce Nuclear site over the years and had interactions with Bill for work related matters, or, just a jovial conversation as we passed by each other. Bill had a jovial, consuming, laugh and always saw the humorous aspects of things.
Bill also loved the Lord and it was evidenced by his genuine want to help others.
It was a pleasure to know Bill, and, I'm looking forward to catching up with him again when we meet in heaven. Although, knowing Bill, there may be a line to wait in as he'll be busy (as always) sharing his thoughts with everyone else around him.
I hope and pray that you will experience God's peace, love, support, and, understanding at this time.
God Bless,
Jon Taverner

Dear family of Bill
I work at Bruce B with 1000 other people, I am a very small work group so I don't have the opportunity to work with many others, however some people stick in your mind. Bill was one of those guys. He never missed an opportunity to say "Hi" or tease me about something if the opportunity was right. Our banter back and forth was often the highlight of my day. He was a great person that you could easily tease and he would give it right back, then we'd laugh and carry on our day.
I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you know he will be missed by many.

Dear Lorraine, Our hearts go out to you...and words fall short at a time like this. You are very much in our hearts and prayers. Asking our precious Saviour to comfort you and your family and loved ones and asking that He carry you through this. I can imagine that your hearts ache so much more deeply because your husband was such a good man and loved you well. May this poem by Mary Fishback Powers comfort you: FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND One night I dreamed a dream. As I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, One belonging to me and one to my Lord. After the last scene of my life flashed before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand. I noticed that at many times along the path of my life, especially at the very lowest and saddest times, there was only one set of footprints. This really troubled me, so I asked the Lord about it. "Lord, you said once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the saddest and most troublesome times of my life, there was only one set of footprints. I don't understand why, when I needed You the most, You would leave me." He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you Never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you." With Love, Sharon & Crossroads Prayer Centre

On behalf of the Wadsworth family we wish to send our sincere condolences to the whole family.
Bill will always be remembered for his humour and generosity. Bill spent many a day and night down
at the Wadsworth cottage partying and playing euchre. He will be sorely missed.
