Dear Steve, Matt and Andrew, I am very saddened by the loss of your mother Doreen. I always looked forward to seeing her at our family gatherings. She was always engaging, fun and had a good sense of humour. She loved to read and so I always bought her a mystery crime novel by her favorite author or a biography for Christmas. Over the years she kept telling me that the books needed large print and rejected any book without big script. Last year it took her the entire year to read the sequel I bought her to Magpie Mystery. I knew then that your mother was getting to that age where things needed to be more simple and I could no longer gift those thick novels that she enjoyed so much before. My hope is that you will consider a celebration of your mother and father later this summer so we can all share our appreciation of her in our lives. Hugs ( hugs help) AnnaMaria Valastro
