I can’t think of my years at St Peter’s and St Mary’s without thinking of Miss Regan. In fact speaking with her about the potential for athletic achievement was one of the strongest factors that wooed me to leave my original school to join the choir program in grade 5. That was a big deal at that age. She became my coach and my mentor as I participated and with her guidance even excelled at almost every sport. Experience which led to success in high school and varsity teams at UofT.
I still remember her entertaining us at St Peter’s with her guitar and incorporating our names in funny ways into silly songs. I even appeared next to her in Anne of Green Gables as she repeated her popular performance of Rachel Lynde.
I am so sorry for your loss but know that she lives on in the hearts of every person on whose life she made a lasting impression.

So sad to hear of Sue’s passing. The baseball ladies have a lot of fond memories of Sue throughout our softball years. Lots of laughs and a shared competitive spirit for sure. I think of Sue every time I see a person make a “basket” catch with their glove. It’s something Sue often did (which made me nervous) and I’m still to this day chicken to do so myself.
So lovely to read this wall of memories. I didn’t know the singing side of Sue. I’m not surprised at all that she made such a positive impact on students throughout her teaching career.
My sincerest condolences to Sue’s family, extended family and friends. In my prayers….see you Saturday.

Sue used to sing at my old parish. She sang with her heart, and it came out in her beautiful, powerful voice and guitar playing. God sang through her. You just know when he does that with certain musicians. A stand out song was "Bring Me A Rose in The Wintertime" which came to have very deep meaning to me when my StepMom died at Christmastime in 2009. This was long after I had heard her sing, but that song resonated and comforted me in that time when roses were laid on my StepMom's snowy headstone. My prayers are with Sue and all family and friends at this sad time.

So very saddened to hear of Sue's sudden passing. I have very fond memories of umpiring many of Sue's "big games". Despite the outcome, she was always the one to stop and chat with the blue crew. Sometimes to discuss a call, but most of the time it was just to say "good game". Because of her - I am a longtime Survivor fan! She talked me into watching it - back in 2001. I only knew the softball Sue side, but sounds like she was one amazing teacher, singer, and most important - a fabulous sister & aunt. May your heart & minds be filled with the many wonderful memories. I know when someone mentions her name to me - they are nothing but good ones. Thinking of you all.
