Obituary of Richard Michael Boyle

Peacefully at Chelsey Park in London, Richard "Rick" Boyle passed away on Friday, September 6, 2024 at the age of 79. Rick was the son of Clarence and Edith Boyle of Exeter, Ontario. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Pat; daughter Chris Moss, son Jason Boyle and grandchildren Kyla Moss, Casey Moss and Matthew Rennox. Survived by his sister Nancy Addison and predeceased by brother Frank Boyle. Also survived by sister-in-law Mary Boyle, Ron and Reta Burns, Robert Burns and predeceased by Doreen Burns. Rick worked for 57 years as a barber in London until covid forced him into retirement. He enjoyed going to work every day to socialize with his many clients and friends. In his spare time he played baseball, hockey and was an avid golfer. He loved his role as a hockey scout for Plymouth Whalers and London Knights after being inspired by his nephew's OHL career.
